In nature, there is a myriad of inspiration to be found—oft ignored, sometimes unraveled. When we first began brainstorming on the idea of building a label, culture, people, conversations and all that surrounds us were the core elements that inspired us—things that we continue to uphold as we step ahead on this path. As craft meets the realms of nature, it leads to both the new and the old, waiting to be explored. If there’s an exhilaration in the ‘new’, there’s also an underscored stability in the ‘old’ and that’s what we aim to explore. People and conversations are a crucial part of what this label intends to be, and so at the core lies working with artist communities, creatives across India and the masters of crafts almost forgotten.

Parhan is a homegrown label. We believe in the power of people and in sync with it, we work with artisans and local clusters across communities.
